Forschungszentrum Jülich Project Description

The Jülich Supercomputing Centre at Forschungszentrum Jülich contributes to StroemungsRaum through the Simulation and Data Laboratory (SDL) "Highly-Scalable Fluids & Solids Engineering" around Andreas Lintermann and the Research Group "Parallel-in-Time Integration" led by Robert Speck. The SDL is focused on the development of methods for the simulation of multiphysics applications on massively parallel HPC systems in the field of engineering, performance analysis and engineering, and the application of AI. Together with the SDL, the research group will use its expertise in the area of time-parallel methods, especially with respect to the coupling of space and time parallelization on supercomputers, to develop new parallel-in-time integrators for StroemungsRaum applications.
